Taylor Roberts, owner and creator of Natural Structures LLC, was born and raised in Kailua, Hawai’i. He received a BA from the University of Colorado at Boulder in Cultural Anthropology. In 2001, Taylor started Natural Structures as a custom woodworking business and expanded it to serve his community as a licensed general contractor. Hawaii BC-36796

The projects shown in the gallery are a small sample of an incredible collaboration with the most creative, talented and professional craftsmen and sub-contractors he has personally managed over the last 24 years.

Taylor has always had a passion for connecting home design to the beauty of our natural surroundings. Clients over the years have greatly appreciated the level of communication and attention to detail he brings to every project. Recently moving with his family to Fayetteville Arkansas, Taylor hopes to bring his unique talent and inspiration to the community.

Natural Structures, LLC on the kitchen, living room and lanai remodel undertaken in our home. We interviewed four contractors and received four bids for services. We immediately connected with Taylor and his bid was very reasonable. Any of our anxiety over working with a contractor (we’d heard many stories of terrible experiences, and few good ones) were eliminated from the start of our project. Taylor and his crew were professional in demeanor, showed up on time, worked hard all day, and performed quality work. I appreciate the fact that you jumped right into the project, offering thoughtful ideas about how to solve the design issues, even with an architect as your client

I very much appreciate that in every detail, from the initial proposal to the last installation, you were candid, thorough and accurate. You were very good at anticipating small important details when we were deciding about kitchen cabinets. When we needed to solve an unconventional range hood exhaust detail, even though it was outside your usual scope, you addressed it and found the perfect solution. You were very good at coordinating the related specialty contractors, including electrical, plumbing and stone, especially since each one, while good at what they did, were also a challenge to pin down.

Often on projects, one starts with a bang, and then has a hard time finishing the last details. We didn't make it any easier by having a significant last material arrive a couple of months after the substantial completion. I was very impressed that you called exactly on the date we agreed upon, ready to handle the final installation.

Overall, your good-natured, can-do attitude and your diligent approach to responsibility make you stand far out in today's pack of unreliable service providers. Keep it up and I'm sure only the best will come to you.
